Mr. Popielski has been in education for twenty years, and he is
in his fifth year in Carroll county as an assistant principal. Mr.
Popielski is a former History teacher who worked in Calvert County,
Anne Arundel County, and McDaniel College before moving to Carroll
County.
Mr. Popielski is a Clarion University graduate and received his
masters from Bowie State University. He has been an assistant principal
since 2000.
Mr. Popielski is very active in the Westminster community, he is
a member of the recreation council, coaches, his sons and daughter
in soccer, football, and baseball. He has also served as an assistant
coach at McDaniel College for the past nine seasons for the highly
successful women's basketball program.
He currently resides in Westminster with his wife, Stephanie, and
their four children, Cassie, Michael, Sydney and Joshua.

Mr. Roemer received his Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College
with a Degree in History. He earned his Masters Degree in Secondary
Education from McDaniel College. Mr. Roemer is a certified Social
Studies Teacher, a subject he taught at East Middle School before
joining the administrative team at Okalahoma Road Middle School
in Eldersburg. Mr. Roemer returned to East Middle School as an Assistant
Principal on July 1, 2007.
