Mary Downing Hahn, the well known author of books for children and young adults was a guest at our school on Thursday, April 15th. Students from each team were given the opportunity to earn tickets to attend one of her sessions. Ms. Hahn met with four groups of 50 students each during the school day.

After school she worked with a group of 10 students in the "writers' workshop". The busy day was made complete by a limo trip and dinner for Ms. Hahn and six lucky students.
