CSE Cafe Information
LUNCH - Students may bring a lunch and drink from home or buy:
HOT LUNCH $2.00 - Reduced price - $ .40
MILK $ .50 - JUICE $.50 - SMALL WATER $.50 - LARGE WATER $1.00
ICE CREAM $ .75
Two different meal plans will be available to students in the Carroll County Public School System again for the 2008-2009 school year.
Purchase of advanced lunch tickets is recommended. Lunch tickets may be purchased in increments of 5, 10, 15 or 20 days at $2.00 per lunch. Students on reduced lunch may also purchase advanced tickets at 40¢ per lunch. Students buying lunch tickets should take the money to the cafe in the morning during breakfast times 8:15-8:35 a.m. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO CRANBERRY STATION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAFE. Lunch tickets will be held by the café manager. When your child wants to buy lunch, he/she simply goes through the lunch line and tells the cashier he/she has a ticket. The ticket will then be punched. When your child has one ticket left, you will be notified via your child.
Due to the large number of students who come to school without a lunch or lunch money, the following lunch charge policy was put into effect . We will follow the same policy for all students. If your child forgets his/her lunch or lunch money, we will follow the procedures below.
1. Your child will use the phone to ask you to bring his/her lunch money.
2. If no one can be reached, or if there isn’t enough time to bring a lunch to school, we will allow your child to charge the $2.00 lunch 1 time. Money is to be returned the next school day to the cafe. Please consider buying lunch tickets for your child to use in the event they forget their lunch or lunch money.
3. If your child forgets his/her lunch or money again anytime during the school year, we will allow them to charge $1.00 for a sandwich and milk. Money is to be returned the next school day to the cafe.
BREAKFAST - Students may purchase breakfast at school for $1.25 - reduced price 30¢. Breakfast is served each day from 8:25-8:35 a.m. In cases where school opens late for any reason, we will serve cereal and toast.
