National Honor Society
Advisors: Mr. Ferrin and Mrs. Henry
Purpose: To foster scholarship, leadership, character and service.
Membership: A student must have a minimum scholastic average of 3.75 with no D or F for a final marking period, carry a full academic schedule, participate in at least two school organizations, or one school and one community organization, submit supporting documents attesting to leadership and exemplary character, and submit evidence of significant community service.
Information: Students are selected after completing three full semesters at the high school level. Members can also join the their Junior or Senior year if they have achieved the required GPA. Failure to continue to display the high standards may result in a student being asked to resign. Once dismissed, a student cannot be reinstalled.
