Black-Eyed Susan Award Competition Has Begun!!
The Black-eyed Susan challenge is geared toward fourth and fifth grade students. This is a challenge to read all 10 nominated books by April 1, 2009. Mrs. Voight and Mrs. Rivera have read and produced questions for each of the books. The procedure for the challenge is to read, answer random questions correctly, and complete 10 books by the deadline. Students will then vote on their favorite book. The votes will be sent up to State level to nominate the Black-eyed Susan Award. To view titles, click here. Books are available at the Publice Library or the Media Center. Please note, since this is a county and State wide activity, there may be a waiting list for titles.
