The sole purpose for this web-site is to facilitate communication between
business vendors and employees regarding various special business offers
extended by business vendors to employees of the Board of Education of Carroll
County (“CCBOE”). All business transactions are between the individual
employees and business vendors. Accordingly, the CCBOE makes no representations
or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, to either the business
vendor(s) or to the employees, and the CCBOE accepts no responsibilities of any
kind and can not be held liable in any way for any transactions between
employees and business vendors.
All offers and purchases are for the personal use of the employee, and obligation of payment is the responsibility of the employee, not CCBOE funds. CCBOE is tax exempt; however, the CCBOE’s exemption from tax does not extend to its employees. Accordingly, all employees are expected to pay all applicable taxes. Businesses offering discounts or special deals to employees of the CCBOE will not have an advantage over other businesses in regards to CCBOE bids. CCBOE makes no recommendation to its employees for use and participation in any offers being made by any businesses vendors. Participation is at the sole discretion of the employee. Special offers made to the CCBOE employees does not entitle the business vendors to advertising on CCBOE property, or events. Any and all advertisements must meet the CCBOE’s policies and regulations concerning advertisements on school property. No business vendor shall represent to the public that it has any special relationship or endorsement with the CCBOE; however, business vendors have the right to represent that they support the CCBOE, its employees, and students. |
