Financial Services Map
The Financial Services Department strives to provide a transparent system of financial services which effectively and efficiently support quality teaching and learning.

 

Finance

The Finance Office manages the monetary resources of the Carroll County Public Schools system under the supervision of the Comptroller, Bradley L. Martin. The Finance Office includes: Accounts Payable, Budget, Food Services, Grants, Payroll, and Purchasing.

The Finance Office is responsible for promoting, monitoring and reporting on the fiscal condition and integrity of CCPS. The Office manages a centralized accounting system with appropriate internal controls and generates reliable financial information in accordance with established accounting principles. The Finance Office provides information, training and resources to school system staff to ensure that all financial transactions conform to established regulations and guidelines to safeguard public funds. The Office also prepares and disseminates all financial information, including the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, to Carroll County Board of Education, Carroll County Board of Commissioners, Maryland State Department of Education, US Education Department, and other interested citizens and organizations. The Office is also responsible for the Annual Financial Audit.
