FFA Chapters Win in Regional Competition

The Francis Scott Key High School FFA Ag Mechanics team placed first in regional competition on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Team members were Ben Rasche, Maranda Graybill, Garrett Wimmer, and Kyle Wagerman. Ben Rasche placed first individually, with Taylor Snyder placing second. Maranda Graybill, Garrett Wimmer, and Dustin Bowers placed tenth, eleventh, and twelfth, respectively.
The Winters Mill High School FFA Ag Mechanics team placed second in the region. Team members were Dwight Scott, Andrew Rawlings, Tyler Harman, and Cody Stevens. Two of the team members also placed in the top 10 individuals. Andrew Rawlings placed fifth and Dwight Scott placed second out of 36 competitors.
Both teams will advance to the state competition to be held at the University of Maryland in late April.
