Career and Technology Center Students Excel at National SkillsUSA Conference

 Students from the Carroll County Career and Technology Center performed well at the 47th Annual National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference, a showcase of career and technical education students. The event was held in Kansas City from June 19-24, 2011. Carroll County students placed as follows:
Victoria Frasco/South Carroll HS (graduate)
Hayden Ventrice/Westminster HS (graduate)
7th Place - Promotional Bulletin Board

Collins Lethbridge/Francis Scott Key HS (graduate)
James Rawlings/Winters Mill HS (graduate)
Joe Wentz/Francis Scott Key HS (graduate)
4th Place - Welding Fabrication

Cameron Logue/South Carroll HS (graduate)
14th Place - Cosmetology

Jillian Porter/Manchester Valley HS (graduate)
Bronze Medal - Photography
These students represented the Carroll County Career and Technology Center and the state of Maryland as professionals, giving their best effort. The Career and Technology Center would like to thank the parents, teachers, and the community for their support which allowed these students to participate in the national championships.
