Career and Technology Center Students Earn Medals at State SkillsUSA Championships

Forty-seven students from the Carroll County Career and Technology Center competed in the SkillsUSA Maryland Leadership and Skills Conference state championships on March 25 and 26, 2011. This is the showcase for the best career and technology students from across Maryland.

Tim Norwood, Culinary Arts teacher, and Mike Campanile, Masonry teacher, serve as the advisors for SkillsUSA. Norwood was selected as the Outstanding SkillsUSA Advisor for Region II.
The gold medal winners will now plan and prepare for the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference, which will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, during the week of June 19-24, 2011.
