School System Receives Waiver for Inclement Weather Days

The State Superintendent of Schools has granted the Carroll County Public School System a waiver of one school day for inclement weather for the 2010-2011 school year. Four inclement weather days were built into the school calendar and six days were used. As previously announced, the school system will make up its remaining one inclement weather day for students on Tuesday, April 26.
     
Therefore, the end-of-year dates as noted on the school calendar are unchanged. These dates are reprinted below.
     
Wednesday, June 15           
Last Day for Pre-Kindergarten Students
 
Thursday, June 16      
Last Day for Students – Two Hour and Forty-Five Minute Early Dismissal System-wide
Professional Time for Teachers
 
Friday, June 17        
Professional Time for Teachers – Last Duty Day.
