The Carroll County Public Schools Education Foundation is proud to announce that it raised over $45,000 (after expenses) through its third annual Chocolate Ball, which was held on February 5, 2011. The Foundation would like to thank the event sponsors, ticket purchasers, auction item donors, and event volunteers for making this event so successful.
Proceeds from the 2011 Chocolate Ball will be used to support the Foundation's mission to provide financial support for innovative programs that will benefit students and enhance the quality of education in Carroll County Public Schools. On Wednesday, April 20, 2011, the Foundation will be distributing $50,000 throughout our schools through its annual "Awards" program.
According to Foundation Manager Andie Luchini, “We are thrilled to have received so much support from the community. This was our most successful fundraiser to date, and we are really excited about what this will allow us to do for CCPS teachers and students.”
