The dates for public presentation, review, and input to the Operating Budget for the Carroll County Public School System for the 2011 - 2012 school year are listed below:

A Board Work Session (without Citizen Participation) on the budget will be held immediately following the public hearing.

Adoption of Board of Education’s Proposed FY 12 Budget during Board of Education Meeting – Charles I. Ecker Boardroom, Board of Education Offices – 1:00 p.m.
To ensure that there is adequate time to address all budget topics, the Superintendent will be observing the following guidelines during Citizen Participation at the public hearings:
Citizens will be given up to three minutes to speak.
The Superintendent reserves the right to limit testimony on each budget item to five speakers. This will allow time for public comment on all budget topics.
Citizens may not display signs or posters. In lieu of signs, individuals are encouraged to submit written comments to the Board and the Superintendent.
The proposed budget is available for review on the CCPS website at www.carrollk12.org under Featured News. Comments and suggestions may be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by U.S. mail to the Superintendent’s Office, Carroll County Public Schools, 125 North Court Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
