Board of Education to Recognize Employees for Years of Service and Accomplishments

The Board of Education of Carroll County will hold two special ceremonies to recognize employees on Thursday, November 18, 2010. The ceremonies will be held in the Charles I. Ecker Boardroom at the Board of Education offices, located at 125 North Court Street in Westminster.
An employee pinning ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. More than 70 employees will receive awards for completing 25, 30, 35 or 40 years of service with the Carroll County Public School System.
An employee recognition ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. During the ceremony, the Board will recognize nearly 100 employees for outstanding accomplishments. These accomplishments include awards in the employee’s area or field, recognition by a professional organization, and authorship of articles published in a state or national journal. Employees also receive recognition for giving presentations at state or national conferences and workshops and for service on state and national committees.
