“Hear Our Voices” – Carroll County Minority Family Forum

The Carroll County Minority Family Forum will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. in Room 007 of the Board of Education offices, located at 125 North Court Street in Westminster. The theme of the forum is “Hear Our Voices.”
A student-led panel will be discussing their experiences in Carroll County Public Schools. Parents also will have the opportunity to meet their regional parent guide. The parent guides assist other parents within a regional school community to establish an environment of acceptance and respect, foster a positive relationship between home and school, and understand and negotiate the school system’s policies and procedures.
Child care will be provided and light fare will be served.
