Census Official to Speak to Students at Cranberry Station Elementary School

Franklin Jackson, a Partnership Specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau, will visit Cranberry Station Elementary School on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. He will speak to fourth and fifth grade classes from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
Jackson will speak about the 2010 Census and why it is important to Carroll County. The information provided on the Census helps to shape decisions regarding schools, roads, health care, and other programs for the next decade. It also helps to determine state and federal funding for local communities.
