Release Date: 11/12/2009 9:04:25 AM

Carroll County Public Schools will join schools across the country in celebrating American Education Week from November 15-21, 2009. This year’s theme is “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.” A highlight of the week is the designation of Thursday, November 19, as National Parent Involvement Day.

Parents and members of the community are welcome to visit schools to meet administrators and staff, view the facilities, gain knowledge of the instructional program, and share personal ideas. Visitors should arrange their visit in advance to ensure that the time is appropriate and does not interfere with planned activities. All visitors are asked to report to the school office on arrival at the school.
