The Maryland State Department of Education is recognizing 31 Carroll County elementary, middle and high schools for achievement on the 2008 Maryland School Assessment/Maryland High School Assessments and for improvement among disaggregated groups from the 2007 to the 2008 assessments. The schools are commended for their dedication to student achievement and for inspiring students to attain higher levels of performance.
